Hello beautiful humans,
As we welcome the return of the light in the depths of winter, we begin to give thanks for the year that has passed. It was not just me who felt how intense this year has been. The Year of the Snake brought deep shedding for many, stripping away what was once believed to be solid and true.
For so many across the world, this was a year marked by profound pain, as we collectively witnessed what unfolds when human beings lose their humanity and become disconnected from soul. I spent hundreds of hours in circles this year, listening to how people are being impacted by the world we live in. Alongside this, I hold a great deal of hope. I have witnessed profound transformations in people’s lives, energy, and inner worlds.
I continue to feel, and now deeply know, that to live a true and meaningful life we must hold it all. We need the capacity not only for love and light, but also for shadow and darkness.
To everyone who tuned into the podcast and shared it, thank you. It has been an amazing passion project, filled with deeply moving and touching moments. These conversations feel at the forefront of the work, and it has been a true joy to share this journey with you.
The final episode of the season was with Conor, where we explored many important and thought-provoking themes around culture, stereotypes, and conditioning. We asked what lies beyond the identity of who we think we are.
The workshop with John Lockley was also a powerful experience. It was an intimate gathering where we gave thanks, prayed, and danced for our ancestors, honouring all that they have done to bring us here.
Lastly, I assisted on my sixth ISTA week-long sexuality training in Japan, followed by two weeks of travel around the country. It was a deep privilege to visit so many temples, sacred sites, and Shinto shrines. What I take from this journey is a reverence for the sacred in everyday life, respect for nature and for one another, mindfulness in each moment, and a renewed sense of wonder for different lands and cultures. We are also powerful sexual beings with so much power, energy and vitality. It's all within and if we start to move, breath deeper, and activiate it, we have a devine connection to some of the most transformational energy on earth!
It was a truly special trip.
